The English Language Development (ELD) department at REACH! Partnership works with Multilingual Learners (MLs) to grow their capacity in English, while also honoring and incorporating students’ home languages and cultures. Students concentrate on developing their skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Additionally, ELD teachers help general educators create scaffolds and supports within their curricula. Our ultimate goal is for students to leave school with the language tools they need to be successful in college and/or their future careers.
