School Counseling
School counselors help with many things as our student navigates high school.
- Academic achievement support
- Social and emotional support
- Post-secondary planning and exposure
- Building relationships between students, guardians, and school staff
Post-Secondary
We are lucky to have a team of staff members to ensure all students have a plan after high school.
- Our post-secondary advisor and career coach provides support to the graduating class, as well as works with all other students to help them learn what opportunities are out there
- Our Collegebound Counselor works with a specific group of Seniors, who have a 2.5 cumulative GPA or higher, to provide extra support for their applications/scholarships.
- Students are exposed to different career fields, apprenticeships/internships, college trips/fairs, employment skills, resume building, and so much more!
Dual-Enrollment
- REACH! has a partnership with BCCC to offer dual-enrollment courses to students who qualify. Our Post-Secondary Advisor, Mr.Moore, leads this with a group of seniors and our goal for future years is to have more students enroll into dual enrollment classes.
