REACH! Partnership School
REACH! Partnership School is an innovative Baltimore City public high school operated by Civic Works. We prepare students for college and careers in Healthcare, Construction, Public Safety, HVAC and the U.S. Military. Graduates of REACH! Partnership leave the school with certifications that let them begin careers or apprenticeships as nursing assistants, pharmacy technicians, carpenters, 911 Emergency Dispatchers and HVAC technicians. Students learn the importance of attending college and are encouraged to enroll in college courses during their senior year. REACH! Partnership is a school of choice and students throughout Baltimore City are eligible to attend.
School History
REACH! Partnership High School a Transformation School operated by Civic Works, opened in 2008 and serving middle and high school students. In SY2017, the school phased out its middle school and began serving students in grades 9-12. REACH! is a non-entry requirement high school serving students from diverse backgrounds. REACH! Partnership High School prepares students for college and the global workforce in the renovated 21st century Fairmont-Harford building. The mission of the school remains at the forefront of each day’s work: to graduate all young men and women who enter REACH! to not only be prepared and motivated to pursue post-secondary education without remediation but who also have the entry level skills to prepare for a rewarding career in the fields of Nursing, Pharmacy, Carpentry, HVAC, Public Safety, and the U.S. Military. This targeted focus on postsecondary education, meaningful career opportunities, and the implementation of social-emotional learning strategies meets the needs of REACH!’s diverse population while ensuring access to excellence in the global workforce. REACH! has also integrated academic and social-emotional interventions to prepare students in achieving the milestone of high school graduation and earning industry certifications.
