Mission

The REACH/Lake Athletic Department athletic director and coaches are dedicated to providing a rigorous athletic program that supports the school community by teaching student-athletes to preserve, work well with others and challenge themselves. Win or lose, REACH/Lake Athletic Department will encourage student-athletes to provide a winning effort, exhibit good sportsmanship, and demonstrate respect for all. “ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE” AND ATHLETIC SUCCESSES are the cornerstones of the Lake Clifton Athletic program. Our students will leave REACH/Lake Athletic Department with a quality education, college readiness, an appreciation for lifelong learning, and the knowledge and skills that will carry them successfully through life.

  • Recognize tradition and accomplishments of athletic teams, scholar-athletes and individuals.
  • Encourage coaches to be leaders, role models, mentors and persons of character.
  • Emphasize and encourage positive lifestyle s that will assist in striving to be the best on and off the playing field.
  • Promote teamwork throughout the school community by building a positive relationship through effective community.
  • Ensure that everyone involved with Lake Clifton Athletic Department adheres to the rules and policies of the Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association, the Office of Interscholastic Athletics, and Baltimore City Public Schools.
